Suurstoffi (Risch-Rotkreuz)
Living Lab
Suurstoffi is a mixed neighbourhood in Risch-Rotkreuz (ZG) built around an old brick building that used to be an acetyl factory. The area hosts about 1500 residents, 2000 students and 500 employees, as well as many interesting and innovative buildings. In this Living Lab, SWICE researchers are studying mobility patterns and energy consumption within the context of new forms of work.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
Achieve CO2 neutrality by reducing car usage and fostering behavioral changes through sustainable transport and new working models, contributing to both energy efficiency and well-being.
