Today the SWICE consortium and its cooperation partners met at Smart Living Lab of Fribourg to get the SWICE project officially started. With more than 60 participants, the kick-off meeting laid the foundation for a fruitful trans- and interdisciplinary collaboration among ten Swiss Higher Education Institutions, private companies, non-profit organizations and the public sector.
Interesting insights were shared during the meeting on the critical role that Living Labs will play in offering unprecedented research opportunities to move towards the energy transition in Switzerland.
